Termination Dust : Granddad : Prince Daddy & the Hyena : Brux
Anchorage-based indie rock/dream pop darlings Termination Dust and former FBX but now Minneapolis-based indie emo/punk duo Granddad return to the Williwaw Social stage on Saturday, July 14th and they are bringing New York-based indie band Prince Daddy & The Hyena and local math rock band Brux along to make this show a showcase - your job is to help welcome them back and enjoy live indie rock at Williwaw Social!
Formed in fall 2014, Anchorage-based Termination Dust played its first show just a month later, in January 2015. Since then, they’ve appeared at intimate house shows, huge summer concerts, and everywhere in between. They call their style “dream Pop meets your grandma,” saying the sound makes them unique on local and national stages. Most recently you may have seen them open for national act Modest Mouse -- which resulted in their band being signed by Modest Mouse's record label Glacial Pace Recordings.
Kellen Baker and Matt Harris aren’t nearly old enough to be actual granddads, but it’s a name they wear proudly. They make up the two-man Minneapolis-based band Granddad, an emerging “emo, punk, party band” as they call themselves, who tour constantly now that they no longer live in FBX.
